It all starts with the diggers going out each day to dig clams fresh out of the Raritan and Sandy Hook Bay.

The diggers sell the clams to Clean Water Clam Company. Clean Water Clam Company places the clams in tanks to filter and purify them. This allows the clams to be cleaned in preparation to be sold.
